CRUCIFIXVI

L. Fox Taylor (the witch CRUCIFIXVI, author of Sigil Craft) is a queer trans nonbinary multidisciplinary artist and writer. They graduated from Alberta College of Art and Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in fine art in fiber. One of Fox’s passions is traditional textile art, including weaving and embroidery. Their work explores the history of witchcraft, feminism, witches in pop culture, and the body. When they are not making art or researching witchcraft, they are casting spells and conjuring all manners of witchery.

Fox likes movies, strong coffee, and cats. Their first book Sigil Craft was published by Union Square in 2023.
